Lust for Life - Wood Fiber Weave Complete Skateboard -Standard Version
Our new fiber-weave and 5-ply Maple FLEXES - kicktail, concave deck, a touch of kick in the nose. A new development in longboard skateboarding. The "Lust for Life" model 33" longboard skateboard is PERFECT for most any terrain - ride to class - ride the park - ride with your friends.
Look - if Flexdex is gonna do wood, we're gonna do something different BUT stay TRUE to the FLEX. So - we picked an cool clear organic weave material to add to the top and bottom of a 5-ply maple deck. The weave adds strength without too much limit on the flex. This is the lightest board around. The deck weighs a mere 2.5lbs.
So - you get an awesome riding deck that you can cruise on - carve on - slide on.
Can you believe we got wood? This is OUR version of a park-style wood longboard skateboard. It's gotta flex, have tail, have concave and be light. Note: this is 2 plies less than the other guys out there.... and the recent update to Gullwing Mission trucks give better clearance and turning. Now - when our man Scott over at UCSD's Muir Surf and Skate saw the prototype he went nuts - couldn't believe what he saw (and of course grabbed the board and skated off). All he could say was "I am gonna sell a sh*tload of these - they are perfect for campus, parks, sliding, for guys AND for girls".
This new organic weave schmeeve is pretty frikkin cool. We can make the board thinner, lighter and FLEXIER than traditional longboards out there. We don't have a lifetime guarantee on wood boards, but it's nice to know they are durable, flex, and perform like a Flexdex should!
